Services

  • Provide behavioral therapy to individuals 18 months to 20 years of age
  • Individualized treatment and behavior Intervention plans  - We design each treatment and behavioral plan based on the initial assessment as well as taking the first 30 days to get to know the individual and observing their behavior.
  • Address Behavioral Challenges  - Examples of behavioral challenges are eloping, self injurious behavior, aggressions towards others and tantrums.
  • Address skills such as Language development, Cognitive learning, Adaptive Daily Living, Social and Play and Leisure Skills
  • Parent Training – insuring parents understand their child’s behavioral plan, coaching, implementation, tools.
  • Behavioral Training – Identifying  the possible functions of your child’s behavior and finding the best ways to overcome those behavioral challenges within the home and community.
  • ADL – Assisting your child to become more independent with ADL’s (Activities for Daily Living) such as things like personal hygiene, dressing, eating, transitions and more. 
  • Healthcare Team Collaboration - Work with other healthcare team members such as Therapists (OT/PT/SLP, misc) doctors, counselors, dentists, etc.
  • Assessments- Inspiring Joy provides a variety of assessment tools in efforts to help your child receive the best treatment possible. Some of these assessments include Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales (Vineland-3)- This assessment tool helps identify the strengths and weakness an individual may have with communication, Daily living skills, social skills, motor skills and Maladaptive Behavior. 
    • Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA’s)- This assessment aids in identifying the function and or functions of individual’s challenging behaviors. 
    • Essentials for Living Assessment- The Essentials for Living Assessment is a assessment tool and curriculum that enables individuals with moderate to severe behavioral challenges on the spectrum and those who may have other developmental disabilities the opportunity to increase the quality of life of an individual. This is done by first addressing what is known as the “Essential Eight Skill” and then building upon the skills acquired. http://essentialforliving.com/
