Once services begin, a BCBA will work with your child directly for the first couple of weeks. Along with the BCBA, a technician (RBT) will be present to begin the process of building a relationship with your child. The RBT will be trained on the implementation of an individualized behavior intervention plan and conduct therapy sessions. Once the behavior technician demonstrates proficiency in implementing the behavior intervention plan, they will begin conducting therapy sessions independently , with ongoing supervision.

Throughout the process of creating a behavioral intervention and implementation plan, family feedback and involvement is encouraged. Once a behavior intervention plan has been created and implemented, a parent training session can be scheduled with the BCBA to discuss, plan and elaborate on other areas of concern that have not yet been addressed.
